Regardless of the size of the issue or the time of day, myself and my housemates have always felt comfortable in being able to contact Dan and every time we have needed to, the issue has been solved quickly and professionally. I cannot recommend Sheffield 2 Let highly enough and I intend to rent from them again when I return to Sheffield in 12 months time.
The maintenance team are second to none whenever we have a problem it’s just a simple phone call away from a solution, they would always arrive on the day of the call or the next. Our landlord Dan is always friendly and helpful, willing to listen to our problems and work with us to create a situation that benefits us both, for example when my rent was due but my student loan hadn’t come through Dan was willing to postpone the payment. I would recommend Sheffield 2 let to anyone looking for a friendly and professional letting agency.
There is also a brick wall type of effect in the bedrooms, which gives the bedrooms a different touch and it does not feel like you are living in student accommodation. Overall I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of living at Walsh court, from the flat to its location and it being quiet and easy to get your work done when needed. The security of Walsh Court is also very secure as you need a fob to come through the main doors with an individual key to gain access to each flat. I would recommend students who go to Sheffield Hallam University or University of Sheffield to live at Walsh Court, as the experience has been great and everything a student would need is located in less than 10 minute walk.
Every room was equipped with a large desk, very good for doing work as I found my room an excellent place to work all year, a comfortable double bed, a cupboard, a spacious chest of draws and extra armchair in the room. Also, there were 2 large bathrooms, one with a bath and the other a cubicle shower, so for 6 people, it was more than enough, so no traffic in the morning! Also, the kitchen was very big with a nice dining rooms table, washing machine, good cupboard space, leather sofas, a state of the art flat screen television and most importantly a dishwasher! Who as a student can say they have a dishwasher!?! Also, because bills were inclusive I never had to worry about sorting bills out which as I have heard from other students living in houses have found extremely stressful, so it was nice not having this over my head, an added bonus! Additionally, as we were given a fob to the front door and a key for the front door which open your individual room, safety has never been a worry!
Any problems in Walsh Court like the tap coming loose etc, Dan and Deb made sure they were solved swiftly, so the team are very helpful and supportive and solve any problems with ease which was very assuring! I would definitely recommend Walsh court to live to anyone I know, as it has been nothing but a positive experience for me!
-House was clean and freshly painted when moving in.
-Maintenance and repairs were done almost immediately.
-Staff are friendly, helpful and very responsive to emails and phone calls.
-S2L actually take care of their properties hiring annual gardeners to tidy up the property.
-S2L inform their tenants with sufficient notice of any workers or maintenance being carried out on the property.
-Zero hassle with the deposit return and don't try to rip you off like most other agencies.
Would highly recommend to any future students looking to rent a house in Sheffield.
